I am an undergraduate student at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, who is currently pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Computer Science with minor in Business. I did my exchange program at the University of California, Merced, and spent some time in China for a short-term exchange program at Tsinghua University, and summer language program at Beijing Language and Culture University.

I believe in working on what I love is the best way for me to deliver the best out of me. I believe in ideas, and working on great ideas is the best thing that can stimulate me both physically and mentally. I am passionate in technology and art, and I always believe that the combination of those two will give us the extraordinary ideas I would love to work on.

My field-specific interests include Human Computer Interaction, Information Retrieval, Linguistics Processing, and Social Media Analysis.

I am also a big fan of classical music, particularly pieces composed by Beethoven, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.

I am currently serving as the advisor to the Indonesian Students’ Association of Hong Kong (PPI-HK). I am also recently appointed to be the Vice President of Organizational Affairs of the E-Academy at HKUST ( I served as the president of the International Students’ Association at HKUST ( from January – December 2012, the founding board member of the Indonesian Students Association of Hong Kong (PPI-HK), and the founding president of Indonesian Students of HKUST (Mahasiswa UST Indonesia (MUSTI)) (
